Beverages Packages On Royal Caribbean Cruises

On board of Royal Caribbean cruises, your breakfast, lunch, snacks and tea breaks are all included in your cruise packages. To bring your cruise enjoyment to the next level, you can cater some of the travel budget for ordering beverages on board.

Beverages On Board Royal Caribbean

1) Unlimited Soda

Having soda is a sure way to cool yourself on board. How about unlimited soda, especially all time favorite Cola for the 5 days?

Once on board, you will find a counter selling the unlimited soda packages (come with an attractive water bottle) for USD 4/ day (child rate) to USD 6/day (Adult rate), subject to additional 15% service charge.

The unlimited soda package will take you from the first day to the last night on board.

If you find it a chore to carry the water bottle, you can leave the bottle in your stateroom. Just flash your seapass showing the red “cola” sticker and the bar attendant will serve you a cup of your favorite soda.

Just in case you are curious, one glass of soda is sold at USD 1.95 (subject to 15% service charge).You can just buy one soda package and share it with your family. Don’t forget that the package is cheaper for child

Of course, if you are not a soda lover, then skip this soda beverage and go for something healthier!

2) Evian Water Package

A electric water flash is provided in the stateroom for you to boil your own drinking water.

For those who want hassle free water, you can order the Evian water packages. Each Evian bottle is sold at USD 3.95, subjected to 15% service charge.

The minimum water package on board includes 8 bottles. If you have more friends on board, you can order more bottles and share the savings.

8 Bottles               10% discount

12 Bottles             15% discount

16 Bottles            20% discount

24 Bottles            25% discount

Of course, there are some guests who skip this water packages and buy a carton of distilled or mineral water when they went out during shore excursion.

For those who order the water packages, your Evian bottles will be delivered to your stateroom in the evening.

3) Minute Maid Water Package

If you do not like Evian water, you can also check out the juice packages on board.

4) Dining At Windjammer Restaurants

Buffets are served at Windjammer. When you dine there, you can get orange juice, coffee, lemonade, ice lemon tea, hot water with your choice of tea bags, ice water and etc.

When dining, the waiter will go around the table and ask if you will like Evian water, fresh orange juices, cocktail and etc.
Do take note these drinks are chargeable. A glass of fresh orange juice is priced at USD 3.95, a bottle of Evian water is priced at USD9, cocktails can range from USD 6 onwards. All the above prices are subjected to 15% service charge.

Some of the guests are not aware that these beverages are chargeable and when they are asked for their seapass to charge the drink, guests get upset.

Well…. I guess this is how the cruises line increase their income during the cruise vacation. This chargeable items are the same on Star Cruises.

5) Dining At Romeo & Juliet Restaurant

During breakfast, Romeo & Juliet restaurant serves juices, coffee, ice water and etc. During dinner, it serves ice water. coffee and tea.

During dinner time, you can notice many guests order bottles of red or white wine to go with the fine cuisine. A glass of red wine cost around USD9.00, subject to 15% service charge.

If you have more people in your group who love wine, you can choose to order bottle of wine, which starts from USD29 onwards. This works out cheaper as one bottle of wine can serve up to 6 glasses.

If you only have another partner to dine with and could not finish your bottle of wine, no worries. Your waiter attendant will help you to keep your bottle of wine and serve it again when you dine in Romeo & Juliet the next day.

6) Countdown With Champagne

A champagne package is available for your booking for the countdown day.

If you do not want to spurge on this, no worries. Champagne will still be handed out to guests participating during the countdown.

Of course, if you want other drinks at the countdown, you can make your purchase at the bar.

7) Enjoy Your Cocktail While Listening To Music

A great enjoyment on Royal Caribbean is that music is available at the swimming pool and  main lounge (known as Centrum, deck 4).

It is a great place to chill out with your friends, sipping your cocktail while listening to music.

A non-alcoholic drink is priced at USD 4 onwards (subject to 15% service charge); soda is priced at USD 1.95 (subject to 15% service charge).

With so many places to enjoy your drink on board of Royal Caribbean, we recommend that you do set aside a budget to enjoy your cruise vacation further.
