3 Days 2 Nights Kuala Lumpur Travel Budget

For the weekend getaway to Kuala Lumpur, it is just meant as a shopping trip and a fun family getaway to celebrate my hubby’s birthday. I did a quick recap of the 3 Days 2 Nights Kuala Lumpur travel budget below:-
1) Airfare
Since the flight is just an hour from Singapore to Kuala Lumpur, I booked a budget airline. Most budget airlines like AirAsia, Jetstar, Tiger Airways fly to Kuala Lumpur.
This time, we flew by Air Asia. A return airfare for 3 pax, exclude check in luggage and exclude meals cost us S$293 or $98/pax for return airfare.
We booked the airfare quite 2 months away from departure date and could not really secure a low airfare. I tried AirAsia and if I book next year Sept airfare to Kuala Lumpur, the airfare for 3 pax is S$276 or S$92/pax. Not much difference too.
Besides booking a flight, you also have a choice to book a coach straight to Kuala Lumpur. A VIP coach usually cost around S$90/return trip.The benefit is you may arrive straight at the doorsteps of selected hotels.

During the past weekend, my family did a crazy thing. It was my hubby’s birthday. This year, instead of celebrating his birthday in Singapore, we took a flight to Kuala lumpur and stayed at Melia Kuala Lumpur hotel!

During my recent trip to Malaysia, I dined at a tonic soup restaurant known as Taang Shifu at Jusco, Malaysia. The food was really nice and I am excited to share with you that Taang Shifu had opened an outlet at Johor Premium Outlets!
