Hi Friends,
If you are a female reader, you probably eyeing to buy a Coachbag when you travel overseas. Last year, when I travel to Japan, I bought myself one.
When buying a designer bag, e.g. Coachbag, I am concern on ensuring that I do not buy a fake coachbag home.
After researching, here are the tips to spot fake Coachbag:-
1) Examine the Coach Leather Creed Inside Your Coachbag

On a Coach Creed, the stitching around it will never have unevenly sewn lines. The corners of the thick leather Creed will be slightly rounded and not pointy.
The common wordings on a Coach creed reads like this:-
“THIS IS A COACH BAG. IT WAS HANDCRAFTED IN CHINA FROM THE FINEST MATERIALS
TRIMMED WITH GENUINE LEATHER. ITS SUPERIOR CRAFTSMANSHIP AND ATTENTION TO DETAIL REFLECT OUR COMMITMENT TO ENDURING QUALITY”
2) Serial Number
Besides the Coach creed, there is also a bag number followed by a dash and the style number. The style number must be correct to match the style.
Not all Coach hangbags will have serial numbers. Small Coach items like mini skinny, cosmetic pouch bags will not have serial numbers.
Some of the accessory type bags, as mentioned above, will not have any numbers but may still have a creed of sorts, usually a shorter version of the above examples.
3) Country of Manufacture
Coachbags are known to be most affordable in USA. Is it manufactured in USA? Not exactly. About 90% or more of Coach bags are manufactured in China. Other 10% countries include Turkey, Italy, Pakistan, Mexico, India and others.
Hmm…. like this year, I am travelling to Korea and now I know Coach bag is never manufactured in Korea.
Now empowered with the above knowledge, hope you can spot fake Coachbags much easier.
Cheers,
