For those who love travel, I am sure you are already planning to travel during this holiday. With Natas Fair approaching at end of this month (see details of Natas Fair here), how do you get the best travel deals?

After much thought, this is the approach I am going to take:-

1) Which  Country Will You Love To Travel To?

Without a tour destination in mind, it is difficult to start comparing the various travel deals.

In my case, I am travelling to Hong Kong this holiday. 

 

2) When Are You Travelling?

Are you flexible with your travel dates? For those who have schooling kids, you will then be restricted to June or December school holiday.  

In my case, I heard that Hong Kong is really nice during Christmas season. I will like to experience the Christmas season and have decided to travel on 25 December 2009. To make it special, lets have a countdown party at Hong Kong and I will travel back on 1 Jan 2010.

Before you head for Natas Fair 2009, make good use of these 2 weeks to check out the pre Natas Fair prices.

Many reputation tour agencies have started to host their own travel promotions on weekends to capture those customers who want to book before actual Natas Fair.

5) Work Out Your Travel Budget

After doing step 3 and 4, you will now have a estimate on how much does your travel cost.

You will also be able to identify what are the must haves for your travel.

For instance, one of my must haves is to countdown at Hong Kong on 31 December 2009. Thus, there must be flight coming back on 1 Jan 2010, so that it is in time for my schooling child.
