why can’t I get two tickets for singapore taipei for 158.88 (each way each person) jetstar as you have published.

If you refer to Jetstar website, you will note that this special rate is for the following period:-
29 June to 26 Jul 2010
27 Jul to 25 Aug 2010
For example if I want to depart from SIN to Taipei on 11 Jun 2010, the airfare rate quoted to me (1 way, JetSaver Light ) is S$130.88
There is a airport taxes of S$28.00, hence giving a total of S$158.88
Do note that different departure date may give you different pricing. S$158.88 should be the lowest offer from Jetstar at this moment.
