Wondering which area is good to shop in Bangkok? Pratunam is definitely a top choice for bargain hunters. Sitting north to Siam Square, Pratunam area houses the Pantip Plaza, Pratunam Market and Platinum Fashion Mall.
PANTIP PLAZA BANGKOK
Pantip Plaza in Pratunam area is the IT area that tourists can visit. Pantip Plaza is most famous for the software available, including the most up to date software. It is known that each CD/VCD/CDROM costs around Baht 100- 150. DVD costs around Baht 300. Here at Pantip Plaza, you can also shop for IT equipment (e.g. pocket computer, laptop)and accessories. However, do check if the warranty is international or local market only.
