Taiwan Travel – Rules For Bathing In Hot Springs

Do you know Taiwan is well known for hot spring? What are the general behavior expected from tourists and locals bathing in hot springs.  Here are the general rules for bathing in hot springs:-

1. Take a shower before bathing in hot springs

2. Avoid bathing in hot springs during menstrual period.

3. Don’t jump into hot spring immediately. Test the temperature with a finger or toe.

4. Maximum time of soaking in hot spring is 30 mins.

5. Drink plenty of water before and after soaking in hot springs

6. Pregnant woman and patients with heart disease should avoid hot springs.

7. Wear a swimming cap if other bathers are wearing one.
