Travel Itinerary – 7 Days 6 Nights Hong Kong & Macau (Part 7)

Hi Friends,

For those who have been following my blog will know that I am planning a trip to Macau and Hong Kong in July 2010. I am planning my itinerary for my 7 days 6 nights Hong Kong and Macau trip.

The trip will be 7 days, whereby 2.5 days will be spent in Macau and 4.5 days will be spent in Hong Kong. Lets see our itinerary for Day 7 (last day in Hong Kong)

Travel Itinerary for Hong Kong & Macau- Day 7

Morning

Golden Bauhinia Square, Wanchai

Located at the HK Convention and Exhibition Centre, you will find the Golden Bauhinia Square.

Every morning at 7.50a.m., there is a flag raising ceremony.

This historical site is the return of Hong Kong to Chinese sovereignty on 30 June 1997.

After the flag raising, we will be heading Johnston Road and nearby back streets for local shopping, especially casual wear.

Afternoon

Last Minute Shopping

This is the last chance to make sure we don’t miss out any great shopping deals and gifts for family members. Luckily, most major department stores are located along the MRT lines. Let me do a count of the top 5 shopping centers. I do not want to miss any of the shopping opportunities!

a) Pacific Place -Located at 88 Queensway, Admiralty.

b) Times Square – Located at 1 Matheson Street, Causeway Bay

c) The Landmark -Located at  Des Voeux Road, Central

d) Harbour City -Located at Canton Road, Tsim Sha Tsui

e) Festive Walk -Located at Kowloon Tong MTR Station

Evening

Depart from Hong Kong

The time to say goodbye to Hong Kong is here. As we board the plane home, we will miss Hong Kong dim sum, roast goose and of course Hong Kong shopping experiences.
