It is approaching year end and I am really excited over countdowns. Many hotels in Singapore will organize their own countdown parties where you can party till late hours. So I like to do a little research of the countdown parties to 2012 at Orchard Road Hotels In Singapore.

I remembered in 2009, my family booked a stay at Orchard Hotel Singapore and joined in the countdown party. The countdown party was characterized by huge balloon drops. So this year, lets us find out what are the available packages to countdown to 2012 at Orchard Hotel Singapore!

Here is what we found out:

1) Currently there is no special year end countdown packages is available.

2) Orchard Hotel room packages or offers ends on 31 December, meaning that you can’t book it to stay on 31 Dec and check out 1 Jan

3) Rooms are still available for booking on 31 December. Room rates are:

Superior Queen Room at SGD380 (SGD 447.20 with service tax and GST)

Buffet breakfast is available at SGD18 per pax (includes service tax and GST)

Superior Queen Room with 2 Breakfast at SGD 412 (SGD 484.92 with service tax and GST)

Year End Countdown At Royal Plaza On Scotts Singapore Hotel

Mention about Royal Plaza on Scotts Singapore Hotel just reminds of the wonderful buffet at Carousel, which I believe you have also heard about it.

Currently, this hotel has a year end countdown hotel packages for booking!

The welcome to 2012 hotel stay package includes up to 40% discount, free unlimited broadband, free use of in room Nespresso coffee machine.

Don’t be misled by the advertisement. A further check reveals that the above promotion is really for stay starting on 1 Jan 2012.

As I search further, realized that Royal Plaza On Scotts Singapore does not have any year end hotel stay packages on 31 Dec 2011.

However, you can book a hotel room 60 days in advance and save 40% but with a minimum stay of 3 nights at SGD 828 (SGD974.60 inclusive of service tax and GST).

With a requirement of minimum 3 night stay, this seem more attractive for tourists rather than local residents.

Year End Countdown At Marriott Hotel Singapore

Talk about location, Marriott hotel Singapore has it all!

Currently, the hotel promotions are not valid for stay on 31 December.

If you try to book for a one night stay on 31 December, you will receive a message that the room is sold out.

Determined to get you a room, I tried 2 night stay from 30 December and check out on 1 Jan. Bingo!

The room on minimum 2 night stay is priced at SGD420 on 30 December and SGD460 on 31 December. The good thing is you can reserve your bookings and no penalty charge as long as you do a cancellation before 27 December.

If you like hotel stay with buffet breakfast inclusive, the hotel room is priced at SGD470 on 30 December and SGD510 on 31 December.
